Its Addictive!

Recent weeks I keep drinking Coke & Pepsi. Its unusual for me because i seldom take carbonated drink. Now, its has replace my intake of plain water. Hubby is not happy and nag at me. I'm not too sure what's wrong. I'm addicted to carbonated drinks! I hope it will stop as its not good for my health and stomach :(

I love the smell of newborn. I love the smell of babies and minyak telon. I'm not over my pregnancy and post pregnancy mood yet tho Ridzwan has turn 4months! We are considering and in talks about baby no. 3 hehe. Of course not so soon. We'll wait till Ridzwan turn 1yr or more before we start our production again lol.

Flipside: Congrats to my SIL on the birth of her baby girl Renni Shazwany.

Renni born on 21st May 08. Weight: 3.5kg (h** cow). I wonder how she manage to push it out. Mine was 2.6kg for both boys and already finding it tiring to huff n puff it out :)

Our trip to the Zoo!

We brought the kids to the zoo today. Its a belated BDay trip for Rahmat, making it his 2nd trip to the Zoo. First time we brought him was on his 1st Bday. At that time, he was pretty much "blur" and unaware or lack of understanding of his surrounding and the animals. Now he's 3 years old, its much more exciting trip but he's afraid to take close-up pictures with the animals. Everytime we ask him to take photo, he will say "tak nak, takut takut"

Rahmat turn 3 Years Old!

We had mini pre-celebration at nenek and atok house at Tampines. We'll be having a much bigger celebration on Sunday at nenek and atok house at Boon Lay.


2 birthday celebration - each at both side of grandparents house but none at our own house hahaha.

Money never enough

I constantly hear people around me complaining “money no enough” and top of it, the increase cost of basic stuff such as rice and milk formula. However, how many of us actually feel the pinch or start making changes to our lifestyle due to this?

For example, our government is kind enough (well sort of) to share the growth dividend and most of us are getting at least $100 or more. And what did most of us do with the money? Spent it. On May Day, the Mall was packed with shoppers and diners. Practically all the restaurants had long queues. Maybe to some, these are extra moola so it’s ok to spent and treat ourselves.

For me, money will always be insufficient. No matter how hard we work or try to look for bigger paycheck, it will never be enough. Our lifestyle has to change. I, myself feel that the $150 I’m getting is of much difference but I’m thankful that at least I have that $150 extra to save for unexpected days like the recent hospitalization :)

I may not be an expert in managing finances but 1 simple rule – take a good look at how you spent your money, is 80% on bills or 50% lifestyle? Do your math and stop complaining, will you.
