Demand = Supply

Ridzwan had his 3rd dose of 5-in-1 jab this morning and as usual, before the jab, the nurse would ask “template” questions such as “did he come in contact with anyone having chickenpox last 3weeks, is the baby well today, did he have fever after the last immunization, how is baby feeding”. It has become too routine, I bet the nurses would have memorize everything and talk in their sleep hehe

Usually, we had no problem answering all of the above but today were different. The nurse got “jumpy” with my reply on the last question – “how is baby feeding?” My reply : “Feeding ok, 4oz for every 4-6hrs.” She quickly asked to weigh the baby, worrying that the baby might be underweight BUT he was not. He is growing and developing.

Frankly, I do not see anything worrying about it. I know theoretically or scientifically, whatever the term is, a 5-6 months baby should be feeding about 230ml at 4 feeding a day. I don’t believe in following the standard feeding guide. After all it’s only a recommended or suggested feeding table. For me, Demand = Supply. Baby cry for it, Mummy will give. Baby happily playing or sleeping (though it’s feeding time following the feeding table), I let it be. Alhamdullilah, Rahmat grows up well and Ridzwan too. My only concern, Ridzwan is quite small in size. I guess he might follow his Papa (small and cute hehhe). Insya-allah there’s nothing to worry.

Here’s a recent photograph of Ridzwan and Rahmat. Looking quite alright ;)

Playful lil angels!
